We have two grandsons due at the end Summer 2018. Do you know how hard it is to find patterns for baby shoes? Or anything for baby boys? I’ve been on Pinterest looking for patterns. I’ve searched Google and Facebook, and I ended up finding a couple of patterns for shoes.
I am not the sewist who drafts things from the ground up. That isn’t my skill. I like to find patterns and then tweak them for my use. I think many of you probably do the same. So I was super happy when I found this video from from Made by Marzipan and downloaded her pattern. It works up super fast and makes the cutest moccasins. Best of all, it requires ONE piece of felt for a pair.
Aren’t they adorable? So tiny and sized to fit 0-3 months! They whip up in about 5 minutes on a sewing machine, but you could hand sew them as well. I think they are super adorable for boys or girls and, since it takes one piece of felt for a pair, you could make a pair of moccasins for well under a dollar versus the price for them on Amazon or Etsy!
If you make some using Marzipan’s pattern, please share pictures of your creations! I love seeing what other people do with the same patterns I use!
